Qingdao Klein Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. is located at Jinling Industry Area, Jihongtan, Chengyang District, Qingdao China. The company was invested and setup by three partners, i.e. Klein France, Beijing Railway Economy and trade Company affiliated to LORIC and Qingdao Railway Coach Door and Window Factory in August 1999.
Qingdao Klein Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. passed ISO9001: 2000 quality system certification. Among domestic train window factories, Qingdao Klein Railway Equipment Co., Ltd is the only one possessing advanced exclusive window manufacture technologies from France. With advanced exported and domestic produced equipment, Qingdao Klein Railway Equipment Co., Ltd has advanced manufacture technical standard.
Qingdao Klein was set up on the basis of Qingdao Railway Coach Door and Window Factory (Qingdao Klein, Chinese part), which started to manufacture type SMC windows for railway coaches for Sifang Locomotive and Coach Stock Co., Ltd (the original Sifang Locomotive and Coach Works) affiliated to China South Railway Group from 1989. In 1994 the aluminum windows manufactured by the factory passed all kinds of type tests.
At present Qingdao Klein is manufacturing high grade windows for China railway coaches manufactured by Canadian Bombardiar (China), advanced windows for metro coaches manufactured by French ALSTOM (China), windows exported for South Korea high speed TGV coaches, windows exported for Indian advanced railway coaches and windows type 25K, 25G and 25B for China railway.
